MITS stands for Marketing Innovation & Tech Strategy, and it is cross-discipline Web 3.0 Strategy and Innovation competition.
The competition is during the fall semester. This years MITS competition will take place on 11.3.2023

2022 – Turner Sports/Bleacher Report -March Madness
The case study is focused on a Marketing Innovation and Technology Strategy.
To register, you must include your first and last name, major, email, cellphone contact, classification (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior), T-shirt size, dietary restriction, schedule/pitch time availability, and any other additional information you would like for us know
Anyone who loves Marketing and Innovation as well as Technology, Web 3.0 enthusiasts, and experts! This is a collaborative event with the Marketing and Information Services Depts.
Pitches will be 10-15 minutes so the time slots will be 30 minutes. Pitches will start at 9:30/10 am and sign-in/kickoff will be around 8:30 am. During the time of the pitches, you are able to use anything when it comes to the case study but remember it must be within the case guidelines.10
The winner will be announced during the evening reception.
This is a wonderful opportunity to network, and learn new skills such as teamwork, researching, and time management. This competition heavily focuses on the collaboration between marketing and technology which is seen within a successful web3.0 world.
2023: All prizes will be distributed as gift cards: 1st Place – $1500 , 2nd Place – $1000, 3rd Place – $500 ($50 per student)
